Technological Breakthrough | Yibai Technology Secures Patent for Saw Blade Vibration & Noise Reduction

As a National High-Tech Enterprise and specialized “Little Giant” company, Chengdu Yibai Technology has focused on the R&D and manufacturing of precision saw blades and carbide cutting tools for over 20 years, continuously advancing vibration control, noise reduction, cutting precision, and tool life technologies.

Recently, the company’s independently developed invention patent, CN121223176A — “Method for Reducing Saw Blade Body Runout and Noise,” was officially published by the China National Intellectual Property Administration.

Traditional industrial saw blades often suffer from vibration, resonance, and excessive noise during high-speed cutting, leading to poor cutting quality and shortened blade life. To solve these issues, Yibai Technology developed an innovative damping and noise-reduction process that fills the blade’s silencing slots with a high-viscosity damping material and applies a constant-temperature curing process to absorb vibration energy at the source.

Testing by the Institute of Vibration, Shock & Noise of Shanghai Jiao Tong University confirmed that the technology reduces operating noise by over 30%, improves cutting stability, and extends saw blade service life.

The technology is suitable for woodworking, aluminum, and steel cutting applications, helping promote low-noise, high-efficiency, and greener manufacturing solutions.
